What a Boring Sky!

Life in Goa is so beautiful everyday that I found it funny and suffocating to stand there with dozens of people, jostling to look at a boring sky and an uninspiring sunset.

3 AM

I saw 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'
According to the movie, 3 am is supposed to be the 'hour of the devil'. Jesus Christ is believed to have been crucified at 3 pm, so the exact opposite of it is when the demons get to work.
I usually wake up around this time to eat. Devil's Work!

We're Best Friends

It is difficult to take his photographs, as must be with all kids.
He moves so much that almost all photographs have a motion blur. Fortunately this doesn't. is a blog about Photographing Kids.

Just Another Tree...

...that made me stop
This is just another non-descript tree that I pass by everday. A little below is the sea. I think silhouettes of trees (or anything else) against a setting sun are easy subjects. The photographs turnout to be almost always pleasing if not spectacular.

No ART, Just smART

He got down from the train at a station on the Konkan line, stripped off and washed his clothes.
*The photograph is not meant to be acclaimed aesthetically. It has no art (unlike my previous photos?) Posted by Picasa

Changing Times

The reflection of an old run-down building on a gleaming new glass-and-steel skyscraper near Mahalaxmi, Mumbai.

Flamingos flying away into the sunset.

*NO, this is not Goa. Its Rozi Bandar at Jamnagar, Gujarat. Flamingos migrate here every winter from colder parts of the world and build their nests in the salt pans. Posted by Picasa
